Data deletion requests
These apps have no accounts, so there is no login to remove. Some records tied to your installation are held by the services described in the Privacy Policy. You can ask us to delete the ones we can reach. This page explains how.
What you can ask us to delete
- Purchase and subscription records that RevenueCat keeps for your installation.
- Analytics and diagnostic records that PostHog keeps for your installation (see the limits below).
- Messages and form submissions you sent us, including support emails and website forms.
What a request does not do
- It does not remove data on your device. Uninstalling an app or using its clear-data action removes local content; neither deletes records held by service providers.
- It does not remove records held by Apple or Google, such as purchase, payment and distribution records. Ask Apple or Google directly.
- It does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play settings.
How to ask
- In the app, open Settings (or Profile) and tap the version number five times. Your User ID appears, and below it an Analytics ID if your version of the app shows one. Tap Copy.
- Email support@enginaytekin.com with the subject "Data deletion request". Include the app name, whether you use iPhone or Android, and the User ID (and the Analytics ID, if you see one).
- Send it from an address where you can receive our reply. We use it only to answer your request.
Do not send health readings, journal text or identity documents. If we need more information to find your records, we will ask for it.
What we do next
We confirm that we received your request, look up the records linked to your User ID, delete what we can reach, and tell you the result, including anything we could not delete and why. We reply as soon as we can. Any deadline set by the law that applies to you still applies.
What we delete and what we may keep
On request we delete, where we can reach them:
- analytics and diagnostic events linked to your installation, such as screens and features used, session information, device and technical details, and error logs;
- purchase and subscription records linked to your installation;
- the support emails and website form messages you sent us.
We may keep a record only if the law requires it. If we do, we tell you what we kept and why.
How long records are kept
Analytics events: our analytics provider, PostHog, keeps events for the period its plan sets, and on the plan we use that is 1 year. The provider sets this period and we cannot shorten it. We delete a person's events earlier when you ask.
Purchase and subscription records: our provider, RevenueCat, does not publish a fixed period for these. They stay while our account is active, unless we delete them, which we do when you ask.
Support emails and website form submissions stay until we delete them. We delete them when you ask.
When we delete a record, the provider can keep backup copies for a period set by its own systems. Data on your device stays there until you uninstall the app or clear its data.
Limits you should know about
- Analytics records use a separate random identifier. The User ID identifies your purchase record. The Analytics ID, in versions of the app that show it, is the identifier your analytics records are kept under. If your version does not show one, we may not be able to find your analytics records. If we cannot find them, we will say so rather than tell you they were deleted.
- Heart Coherence: earlier versions sent some health-related analytics events, described in the Privacy Policy. You can ask us to delete the records associated with your installation in the same way. Do not email raw health readings.
